Perth based writer & musician, Bob Davidson performs a cross section of his own material interspersed with favourite songs from the 1960s to the present day. Bob studied piano from an early age and was always whistling and singing. He began dabbling with the guitar and eventually could play three chords. Self taught on the guitar he decided to teach himself to play the fiddle. He has composed about 60 or so traditional style Scottish fiddle tunes and can even play some of them. The song writing began in 1993 and nearly 100 have been produced since. He has performed several live radio broadcasts and 40 of his songs are available on 4 CDs. Bob also has two books published (now sadly out of print) and has written a couple of One Act plays one of which, Mayday Mayday Mayday, went on to win The Scott Salver award for best new play for 2008, out of an entry of 24 plays.
